Gilmer Apartment Hotel provides a great accommodation option for leisure guests, as well as corporate clients who need to be in Wellington. We offer serviced apartment accommodation that is conveniently located in central Wellington.
Our reception hours are 8am to 6pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays. Full instructions are provided for accessing the property during your stay outside of these hours.
Gilmer Apartment Hotel provides guests who stay, free unlimited Wi-Fi. Most rooms feature a LAN port as well.
All TVs are connected to the hotel network to provide streaming video and other online services on your TV.
Gilmer Apartment Hotel provides complimentary access to Habit, health and Fitness Facility. Habit has a pool, spa, sauna and steam room. The facility is available for the duration of your stay. Use is subject to Habit's terms and conditions and is restricted to guests 18 years and over.

All rooms have an in house washing machine and dryer facilities. Additionally, a dry cleaning pick-up service is provided by Mansfield Dry-cleaning. Please bring your clothing items to reception the night prior to be collected and returned the following day. Service only available Monday - Friday.
Your kitchenette contains two electric hobs, extraction fan, small refrigerator, microwave, cooking pots, pan, utensils, crockery, toaster and jug. We ask that you refrain from cooking fragrant or odorous foods in your room kitchenette.

Hotel Apartments are serviced daily by our housekeepers, generally between 10am and 4pm. On occasion servicing occurs outside of these times. If you are a long term guest you will receive a weekly service.
Our housekeepers will not completely service an apartment, where personal (guest) items obstruct them from completing their tasks.
Please contact reception if you have any specific requirements relating to servicing your apartment.
If you do not wish for your apartment to be serviced - please hang the ‘Do not disturb’ sign on the outside of your door.
Please note that placing the ‘Do not disturb’ sign on your door at any time during the day will result in your apartment NOT being serviced that day. If you do put your do not disturb sign out for a short period but still wish for your apartment to be serviced that day please call reception to advise.
Our receptionists are all familiar with Wellington attractions and are happy to provide suggestions and help you book tours, etc.
Lost property - while every effort will be made to try to locate any lost property, Gilmer Apartment Hotel takes no responsibility for your personal items.
If you leave personal belongings in your apartment, please contact us and we will bag them ready for collection.
If you are from out of the area, please post us a post-paid, self-addressed envelope or bag to fit your belongings and we will post them back to you. Gilmer can arrange return postage for an additional fee.
For health and safety reasons any perishable goods are disposed of on the day of departure.
We are happy to hold your luggage at no charge. Luggage must be collected prior to reception closing – i.e. 6pm on weekdays or 5pm on weekends and public holidays. If luggage collection is requested outside of reception hours additional fees will apply.
Upon check-in you will be offered a map of Wellington City and a note of directions for accessing Lambton Quay and The Terrace. Please don’t hesitate to ask our friendly receptionists if you need other directions.
A limited number of Dominion Post newspapers are available in the lobby area (free of charge) please help yourself.
Please ask our staff to call a Wellington Combined Taxis for your trip to Wellington Airport. We have special agreed rates to the Airport, Ferry Terminals and Railway.

Please arrange wake-up calls with reception. This service is free of charge. Please ensure you check that the phone in your room is plugged in and the ringer is turned on before you go to bed. Our after-hours service will call back three times if a wake-up call is not answered. They will then try an alternative number if one has been provided to reception. If the call is still unanswered they will contact a Gilmer Apartment Hotel staff member to investigate. Please note that if a staff member is called in to assist outside of reception hours a charge of $50 will be added to your account.
